How far it actually is
Coral Crater Adventure Park sits in Kapolei, on Oʻahu's leeward west side — about 25 miles and, outside rush hour, roughly 40 minutes from Waikiki by car.
Driving yourself
If your group already has a car, self-driving is the most flexible option and costs nothing beyond your own transport and parking.
The Waikiki shuttle
A round-trip shuttle from the Waikiki area runs for US$30 per person. It has to be added to your booking by 3:00pm Hawaiʻi Standard Time on the day of your visit — after that it can't be arranged.
Staying at Ko Olina
Guests at the Ko Olina resorts, closer to Kapolei than Waikiki, get a free round-trip shuttle from four pickup points nearby.
Booking transport in advance
Add whichever option suits your group when you book, rather than trying to arrange it on the day — the shuttle cutoff in particular doesn't leave much room to decide at the last minute.
Night driving on the west side
If you do self-drive, remember the trip home runs after dark; Kapolei's roads are well used but it's still worth planning the return leg rather than leaving it loose.
